LZ Granderson interviews Governor Gretchen Whitmer about her outspoken leadership on behalf of LGBTQ Michiganders and her experience in a purple state during times of tremendous political strife.

This year, we’ve had the strongest pro-LGBTQ federal administration in the nation’s history. We will be joined by folks on the frontlines of the Obama and Biden White Houses for a look back and forward on our effort to improve LGBTQ lives through executive actions.
